Becky Schappell began skating in the Lehigh Valley in 1994.  Becky is a US Figure Skating Member and is SkateSafe compliant. Becky has 20 plus years of coaching experience.  She is a USFS Accredited Level 1 coach in Group instruction. Becky is a graduate of University of Delaware where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Figure Skating Science. During this educational program, she learned to how to coach from National, World and Olympic coaches.  Becky was a member of the 2004-2005 University of Delaware Intercollegiate Skating Team. In 2022, she became an Adult 21+ Gold Medalist in Moves in the Field.    

 

Becky has a passion for figure skating and continues to skate for herself as well as coach. She loves learning new skills and coaching techniques.  She enjoys sharing that passion and love of the sport with her students.   She coaches students of all ages, levels and abilities.
